As well as the joy gained from making your own clothes and accessories, being able to sew is a recognised valuable life skill.
Sewing offers a wide range of benefits including boosting confidence and self esteem, assisting with hand to eye coordination and enhancing numerical skills.
Tuition is aimed at children and young people between the ages of 8 – 14 yrs old and for beginners and intermediates. If you have a friend who is interested why not have a session together.
As well as learning how to hand sew, once confident and able, students will move onto learning how to use an electric sewing machine.
Students need not own an electrical sewing machine as I can provide one as well as all the other tools and materials needed.
I have over 20 years experience of sewing and I hold a enhanced CRB certificate and public liability insurance.
